Your Responsibilities as an MOT Tester

As a vital part of the team in Christchurch, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role is perfect for a meticulous Mechanic who takes pride in their work.

Carry out all MOT tests strictly in line with VOSA / DVSA guidelines.
Ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes while maintaining consistent product quality.
Identify and advise on any additional work needed, always prioritising customer safety and our Duty of Care obligations.
Provide outstanding service to customers and actively support a collaborative dealership environment.

Role Requirements

To successfully join our team as a Vehicle Technician in Christchurch, you must demonstrate deep mechanical knowledge and possess:

A valid MOT Testing qualification is absolutely essential.
Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive industry role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively as a skilled Mechanic.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
A current, full UK driving licence (subject to licence checks).
